Department of Humanities
Humanities studies the development of human thought and culture. By focusing on literature and history, our humanities courses seek a broad and interconnected understanding of the human experience. Our historians and literary critics help students to understand, interrogate and challenge the frameworks by which our ideological world is structured, the stories we tell and the structure we give to our past in order to prepare for tomorrow.
