BA(Hons)
Business and Management

Business doesn’t just mean skyscrapers and lattes. Business is people, change, set-up, data. Business is lifelong learning. Business is US.

The business environment is continually changing.  Management and leadership skills are essential for driving businesses forward. The BA (Hons) Business and Management programme will equip you with the knowledge, skills and experience that will enable you to be ‘professionally ready’ on graduation.

You will appreciate the importance of the social, political, ethical, technological, environmental, and global contexts in which business organisations operate. You will develop your own leadership skills as well as your analytical, communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills relevant to modern business and professional contexts.

Contemporary issues including sustainability, financial management and the global supply chain will raise your awareness of challenges faced and a range of business organisations will support your professional development. You will be provided with opportunities to develop your professional network and career opportunities within the ever-changing business environment.

A range of assessment methods are used including presentations, reports, time constrained assessments, examinations and essays.
